Oct. 30 last year, 63-year-old retired colonel Youri Korepanov rode the train from Tashkent, where he was visiting his youngest son to her home - in Ekaterinburg. At the border it landed from the train some people, and many days of him could not hear anything - not even relatives. As it turned out, all this time he was in jail the National Security Service of Uzbekistan. A Jan. 11 already this year Uzbek military court sentenced Korepanova to 16 years in prison for treason.

As the author writes - this story is not so wild that some Central Asian despotism on the absurd charge planted a Russian citizen in jail for a huge period of time.
Dicko that the Russian state on this occasion neither growled nor Telety and progressive public indifferently tongues.

... But somewhere in my heart keep a "Platonic ideal" of both. That is, we understand, after all, what they should and could be different. And some even believe that necessarily.
